GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU RIGHT NOW

Discernment in Love and Marriage

By A. D. Walter

God is not silent about your relationship, and He is not absent from your decisions. The question is not whether God is speaking, but whether you are discerning His voice correctly. Many people desire divine confirmation, yet ignore divine warnings. When it comes to love and marriage, discernment is not optional; it is essential.

God speaks in ways that align with truth, peace, and wisdom. His voice will never contradict His principles. If a relationship consistently produces confusion, anxiety, and inner conflict, it is not something to overlook. Emotional attachment can be loud, but divine direction is often clear and steady. You must learn to separate feelings from conviction.

One of the primary ways God speaks is through patterns. Pay attention to consistency. Words may inspire you, but patterns reveal reality. If someone’s actions do not align with their promises, that is already an answer. God does not lead you into confusion; He leads with clarity, even if the truth is uncomfortable.

Another way God speaks is through inner peace. This is not the temporary excitement of being in love, but a deep, settled assurance. When something is right, there is a sense of alignment within your spirit. When something is wrong, there will be unrest that cannot be ignored for long. Many people silence this signal and later call it a mistake, when it was actually a warning.

God also speaks through wisdom. Seek counsel, observe outcomes, and evaluate character. A relationship that is meant to lead into marriage will show signs of growth, accountability, and mutual respect. It will not require you to compromise your values or ignore obvious red flags.

Marriage is a serious covenant, not just a romantic decision. If God is truly leading you, the direction will be supported by truth, not just emotion. You are not meant to guess your way into a lifelong commitment; you are meant to discern it with clarity.

As you watch this video, reflect deeply. God may be confirming something you already sense, or correcting something you have been overlooking. Either way, He is speaking. The wisdom is in listening and responding rightly.
